The agreement terms for Bayview Community members to receive water service are changing due to a recent Settlement Agreement Between Bayview Community and Marina Coast Water District. Questions and Answers About Changes to Your Water Service

Welcome to Marina Coast Water District. For the last few years, Bay View Customers were not direct customers of the District. As a result of a recent settlement agreement between the District and Bay View LLC, the terms for Bay View Community Customers to receive water service are changing. Below is additional information about these changes and answers to common questions.

Your current agreement to receive water service from Marina Coast Water District came about because of various agreements and settlements going back to 1998 when the Army owned the property. As a result of a recent settlement agreement with Bay View LLC, changes are being made to your water service.
The District will begin charging the standard monthly minimum water charge for a ¾" meter that all other customers in the District pay. The charge covers the fixed costs of providing service, including portions of the pipelines, reservoirs, pumps, and other facilities and services that serve you. The monthly charge is currently $48.94 and is already paid by all other MCWD customers.
The new charges will start once all of Bay View Community's new meters have been installed. Residents should expect to see this new charge on their March bill. This meter charge is standard for all Marina Coast Water District's customers.

Since you are already a customer, you do not need to update your contract. However, please update your contact information if it has changed by calling our office at (831) 384-6131. When you call, we will need to verify who you are with the last four digits of your social security number or drivers license number and then update your information.
